Through the Leadership and Civic Engagement units in The Commons, VCU offers multiple signature events and experiences for students to participate in each academic year.

You can engage in experiential learning through an Alternative Break trip, help plan (or even submit a proposal to talk at) TEDx VCU, get a hands-on leadership immersion experience through Expedition RVA, or attend the annual Leaders Unleashed: VCU Student Leadership Conference.
