The Underground

The Underground team, which is part of The Commons, assists students in developing an appreciation for diversity, responsibility, critical thinking, and practical skills to become lifelong learners, productive citizens, and community leaders. 

The Student Involvement Ambassadors in The Underground provide event advising to student organizations and co-curricular opportunities for student involvement. 

For registered student organizations, there are a variety of resources and support services to help these organizations become successful and reach their goals, including:

• Access to RamsConnect platform
• Opportunity to apply for VCU SGA funding for conference travel, events, and programs
• Resources for effective meetings
• Leadership development programs
