Lost and Found
If you believe you have lost an item in the Commons or Hunton, please describe and report it using this form. If we receive your item, our staff will reach out to you.
Submit a report with the link above and a staff member will go through all reported items to try and find it based on the description. If a match is found, the Commons team will reach out to set up a pick up time at our 104 Office
Any items found or turned into our staff are carefully logged and stored in a secure location
These items are sent to VCU PD. Their lost and found form can be found here. These items include but are not limited to:
- Electronics (computers, phones, smart watches, full earbud sets)
- High Value Jewelry/Watch
- Wallets/Cardholders
- Cash
- Drugs/Prescriptions
- Government Issued or VCU IDs
- Any item with a value of $100 or more
The Code of Virginia § 23.1-104 (Disposition of lost or abandoned property) requires that most items accepted into the university’s lost and found be kept for a minimum of 120 (4 months) days if not claimed unless otherwise specified below. After 120 days (4 months) have elapsed, the items go to VCU’s Surplus Property Department.
Items found at Larrick are turned over to the RecWell Front Desk. Please refer to them for inquires about your item
If you have lost an item in other locations at VCU, please contact them and their own respective lost and found inventories.
