Information Center

The Information Center is located on the first floor of the University Student Commons, next to the Floyd Avenue entrance.

The Information Desk strives to serve the diverse needs and interests of the campus community by offering information services about the facility and campus to students, faculty, staff, alumni, and visitors. The Information Desk is staffed whenever the building is open, and can be reached at 804-828-1981/1982.

Come to the Information Center with any other questions you may have, we can help answer or find out more information on who can help.

Information Assistants are very knowledgeable about directions on VCU’s Monroe Park Campus( MPC), MCV, and the surrounding Richmond area. There are also paper maps of the two campuses available at the desk.

Calling the Student Commons is another good way to receive help, as Information Assistants are able to help research answers and transfer to any VCU department as needed.

Checking in for events

Hosting an event in the Commons? Coming to the Information Center allows staff to check you in, show you to your reserved space, and discuss any needs for the event.
